Jessica S. Gellady, ARNP Bio

It’s a coming home for Jessica Gellady. Jessica joined our New Port Richey office as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2012. She grew up attending Pasco and Pinellas County schools and is happy to return to the Tampa Bay area. Jessica earned her Masters of Science in Nursing at the University of South Florida. She’s worked with children and babies in hospitals, the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind, and in private practice.

This is a second career for Ms. Gellady. Before transitioning into health care, Jessica worked as a television news anchor and reporter for stations around the country. Interestingly, Jessica often had the health beat and was once dubbed “Ms. Medical” by her peers at a Midwest TV station for her daily health reports.

Jessica was born with a hearing loss and was featured in an Augusta, Georgia, newspaper article titled, "Beyond the Sound Barrier". She did not let this stop her from working in the communications industry or prevent her from pursuing her healthcare goals.

She loves children and has a long history of volunteering with organizations such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Girls, Inc., and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. As a mother of three young ones herself, Jessica identifies with many parental concerns and finds it a privilege to watch children grow and change.

Jessica is also the eldest daughter of Dr. Andrew Gellady and is proud to work with and learn from a wonderful pediatrician who happens to be her dad.
